What Can I Expect During my Lip Filler?

We offer lip enhancement in our BOYD Birmingham, Ann Arbor, and Detroit offices.  We will speak to you about the amount of fullness and volume desired. The needles used are exceptionally thin. Most patients do not even realize the procedure is over and return to their normal routines the same day.

What Can I Expect During my Lip Filler Recovery?

Your lip augmentation recovery will be fairly minimal. Most patients feel back to normal with one to three days of surgery and return to their normal daily activities, including work, within three to five days of their lip augmentation procedure. You may experience swelling, tenderness, and bruising around your mouth, however, this is normal and typically resolves on its own within a few days of treatment. While you will be able to see most results of your lip augmentation surgery immediately, ultimate results will be visible once all swelling subsides, about six to eight weeks following your procedure.
